October... Fall Is Here!

I don't know where September went, but I'm grateful for October. The fall leaves, pumpkins, the cool air, it's my favorite time of year. There are some great activities coming up this month but the details are not available yet so check back later for them.

General Announcements:

Thanks to all who participated in the retreat whether through planning or simply being there. It was great fun. I'm working on a blog post, if you have pictures to contribute please email them ASAP.

There are several Welfare Square projects this month. Please sign up on Sunday to help.

Please bring your loose change to church, the Primary will be collecting for Pennies by the Inch during Relief Society the next two Sundays.

Recurring Events:

Ward Choir Practice: Every Sunday (except Fast Sunday) at 12:10 p.m. in the chapel. Come share the joy of music by singing in the choir!

Family Home Evening & Game Night: Every other Monday at the England's home (1194 So. 500 E.) at 7:00 p.m.. Come "eat treats, meet cool people, and play fun games."

Family Home Evening @ Romney Plaza: Every 2nd and 4th Monday in the Library at Romney Plaza (475 E. 900 So.) at 7:00 p.m..

Thursday October 28th: RS Meeting @ 6:30 p.m. in the Relief Society Room. Come learn how to set up an emergency plan, prioritize what to take with you in an emergency, mingle with your sisters, and snack on refreshments. Childcare will be provided.

Saturday October 30th: Stake Trunk-or-Treat, 6:00-7:00 p.m. in the 2nd/Harvard building parking lot
