coming up....

Here's a couple more announcements:

  • There is a basement apartment for rent in our neighborhood. The address is 1093 S. Denver St. 1 bedroom, newly renovated. If you know anyone who's looking, direct them here. There's also a website here.

  • This Wednesday we're having our weekly RS lesson. Becky Allred will be teaching on Being a Righteous Husband and Father. It's a great lesson! So Primary workers, YW, and those of you who missed it, I highly suggest you attend :) There will be child care provided and some refreshments afterwards. Starts at 7pm in the RS room.

  • There is a Service Project being done by our YW girls for their Activity Days. They are looking for donations to stuff into Christmas Stockings. Some ideas are fruits/nuts, Christmas candy, Trinkets/novelties/pencils/small toys, or anything that children would like that would fit into a stocking. If you have some things you'd like to donate, please call Dixine at 801-484-4216 or Tammy at 801-631-1323. Donations are needed by Sunday, Nov 29th!!

  • If anyone is interested in attending the 6 am temple session on Fridays contact April Diaz.

i scream, you scream...

We all scream for ice cream!
Ice cream social today ( Sept 12th) 2 pm at the ward.
Bring some homemade ice cream to be judged, or just come to eat it. Either way, should be a good time!
also....
There is a great co-op small grocery store that has great prices on organic packaged products, and dairy items (specialty cheeses, yogurt, milk). It is non-profit so their prices are affordable - products run from $0.25 to $10.00. Check it out! It is Utah Co-op found at 1899 S Redwood Road #A4 (it's back in a storage unit area looking place). They take cash only and you can find their hours of operation on their website www.utahcoop.org. If you have any questions about it, talk to April Diaz or Ana Radovich."
