and especially the Christmas Season. Sometimes I still feel like a little kid when it comes to Christmas. I love the snow, the lights, being with family and friends, and giving and receiving gifts. These are all wonderful reasons to enjoy the season but I hope we can all remember the real reason we celebrate Christmas, the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ. He gave us the greatest gift of all; the way back to our Heavenly Father. Hopefully we will all be able to take some time this Christmas season to remember our Savior and the many things he has done for us.
There are some great activities coming up the next couple of weeks to help you enjoy the season with your ward family.
General Announcements:
Tithing Settlement will be held the first two Sundays of December. Please sign up for a time on the list at the bishop's office.
The Ward Choir would like you to share your talent with us. We are currently preparing for the Christmas Program. Practices are Sundays at 12:10 p.m. in the chapel. Please come join the choir!
We'll be having a wonderful RS activity on December 10th @ 7:00 p.m. Cookies & Caroling: please bring a plate of cookies, cheerful voices, and happy faces! Quilts will be tied at the ward for those not up to caroling. There will also be a class for children.
Ward Temple Night will now be the 3rd Friday of each month, 7:00 p.m. session at the Salt Lake Temple.
