The Relief Society Building provides a small tour of the bottom level, describing the history of the building, of the Relief Society, and displays of gifts from around the world.

The Utah Museum of Fine Arts (UMFA) is free to the public every 1st Wednesday of each month. They also do free family art activities every 3rd Saturday of each month.
The Utah Museum of Natural History is free to the public every 1st Monday of each month.
Welfare Square provides a free 1 hour tour of all of the facilities. At the end, you get to try some of their own chocolate milk, cheese, bread, honey, peanut butter, and jam.
The Wheeler Historic Farm is free to see the animals and the barn museum. There are some activities, such as Farm Chores, that cost a little ($0.50 per person).

The new exhibit at the Utah Museum of Fine Arts (UMFA) is the Monet to Picasso exhibit June 23rd-September 21st. That is great that the 1st wed of each month is free. We should all try to go see these historical works of art in our very own city! We are planning on going the evening of Wed. July 2nd since it is free that day! (Unless we pick up a free museum pass on july 1st from the library, we'll go on a weekend!) Let me know if anyone would like to go with us. There are also free concerts in the Brigham Young Park just east of the Church Office Building. They are on Tuesday and Friday evenings. They have some lawn chairs set up, you can bring your own chairs or spread a blanket on the lawn. There is a poster by the bishops office with the schedule.
